James Pettinelli started Zagaboo in Virginia, but now Zagaboo (and James) live in Tampa, Florida. James wrote The Legend of Zagaboo (his first book of four) in 2014. All the main characters are inspired by James’ family and friends. James has given hundreds of Zagaboo shows to schools, daycare centers, and libraries. In addition to giving Zagaboo shows, James also works as a Realtor, helping folks buy and sell homes throughout Florida.
